Okay, so putting new doorknobs on interior doors is a common diy project. But when your door hardware is 70 years old and the doors are not drilled for modern hardware, there's no shame in calling in a pro. 4 doorknob sets later and not only does my hall look better, but all the doors work smoothly. What used to look like a mess with old, missing and broken doorknobs, now looks sharp. One was the door to the basement stairs, now it actually locks. Took the locksmith about 2 hours and cost less than $300.00 for everything. And he cleaned up after himself. Great!

Alex, saves the day! I locked myself out of my apartment and looked up nearby locksmith on google. First called a different company who claim they are 24/7 service but no answer after letting it ring for a long time. Went down the list and called North Shore Lock & Key, Alex picked up after the first ring. He was quick, professional, and friendly. From the phone call to getting my door unlocked was 20 mins tops. Highly recommend!

Bob was really helpful, and flexible. He changed the lock on a really old outer door quickly, and it works perfectly! Even took some extra time to help me with a lock that we hadn't even known needed work. Great service! Definitely reccomend. I've seen alot of reviews stating they have noticed that his shop was closed. Just call before going and make an appointment. He is a small operation, and has to close the shop when he is out on road calls
